I-DEAS Solid Modeling (Geomod) is for developing solid geometric modelsof design concepts. Solid models can be developed that containmathematically complete representations of a design concept, so designengineers can perform numerous analyses to test the geometric integrity(e.g., ergonomics, packaging, weight, fit) of design concepts withoutneeding to build a prototype. With a new object editing feature, designengineers can interactively edit solid designs so that multiple designconcepts can be more quickly evaluated early in the design process.
